For example, OS was higher in females compared to males, non-smokers compared to current/former smokers, and patients with a BMI of 18.5 to 23.0 compared to those with a BMI less than 18.5 or greater than 23.0.<br /><br />The study highlights the importance of accurate determination of nodal categories in unresected advanced lung cancer. The findings demonstrate that the cN categories have a significant impact on overall survival. These results can help in identifying patients with better prognosis and tailoring treatment strategies accordingly.<br /><br />In conclusion, the study suggests that the cN category is an independent prognostic factor for overall survival in unresectable advanced/metastatic lung cancer. Further research is needed to validate these findings and explore their implications for clinical practice.
