For the 300 Indeterminate results, 25% were downgraded to a 24-month LDCT scan, and 3% were upgraded to the cancer pathway, with five cases confirmed as cancer. Overall, the MDT played a vital role in ensuring quality assurance of initial radiology reporting and optimizing the use of resources in the lung cancer screening program. However, long-term clinical outcomes are not yet available for all participants discussed in the MDT.
