EP10.01-004. Perspectives of Patients with Metastatic Lung Cancer on Symptom Screening and Patient-Reported Symptom Trajectory Data

This study aimed to explore the perspectives of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC) regarding symptom screening and patient-reported symptom trajectory data. Participants also highlighted the need for clear communication and education about the interpretation of symptom trajectory data.<br /><br />Based on these findings, the researchers recommended enhanced symptom screening and increased utilization of patient-reported symptom trajectory data for patient education in mNSCLC. They emphasized the importance of involving patients in their care and tailoring symptom screening and education strategies to meet their individual needs.<br /><br />Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the perspectives of patients with mNSCLC regarding symptom screening and patient-reported symptom trajectory data. By taking these perspectives into consideration, healthcare professionals can better support patients in managing their symptoms and improving their quality of life.
