It highlights the importance of considering muscle mass in the administration and toxicity of carboplatin treatment.<br /><br />The findings emphasize the need for strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of cancer treatments and suggest that considering muscle mass may be one such strategy to improve patient outcomes. More research is needed to validate and explore these associations in larger patient populations.
