Members expressed trust in nurses’ abilities to accurately review images and seek second opinions when necessary.<br /><br />The study highlights the need for a comprehensive definition of the specialist lung cancer nurse role within Australia's screening program and recognizes the clinic's essential role in improving the efficiency and accuracy of pulmonary nodule management. It demonstrated that nurse-led clinics could significantly streamline processes and enhance patient satisfaction when appropriately integrated into multilevel healthcare systems.
