In contrast, no notable benefit was observed for those with less than 50% solid components.<br /><br />The study concludes that while sufficient ELN evaluation is vital for accurate patient staging and improving prognosis, simply increasing ELNs may not better DFS for those with lymph node-positive status. For these patients, postoperative treatment should be considered. This research contributes to the ongoing discussion about optimizing surgical protocols and treatment pathways in NSCLC, emphasizing tailored approaches based on tumor characteristics and lymph node involvement.
