It was observed that pathological complete response (pCR), major pathological response (MPR), and LN-complete response (LN-CR) rates varied between patients with extensive mediastinal lymph nodes metastasis (mEMLNs) as compared to those with regional mediastinal lymph nodes metastasis (mRMLNs). Furthermore, differences were also noted in the pathological responses between multiple-station mRMLNs and multiple-station mEMLNs groups.<br /><br />Overall, the research underscores a significant association between the pattern of LN metastasis and the effectiveness of nICT in resectable NSCLC, emphasizing the potential need for strategies tailored to specific LN involvement patterns to improve treatment outcomes for lung cancer patients.
