Additional significant results showed liver, lung, and brain metastases also increased the likelihood of BM presence.<br /><br />The study highlights the need for more frequent bone imaging in Asian/Pacific Islander patients diagnosed with advanced MPM to address the observed disparities. It suggests that further research should delve into genetic predispositions, environmental exposures, and healthcare access to better understand and address these racial differences in BM risk, aiming for personalized patient management and enhanced early diagnostic strategies.
