Summary
The IASLC 2025 Hot Topic Meeting: Small Cell Lung Cancer is a biannual international meeting focused on preclinical and clinical advances in small cell lung cancer research. This includes basic research on oncogenesis and biology of disease, preclinical therapeutic research, and highlights of ongoing clinical translation.
The conference provides medical professionals and researchers with a comprehensive view of the latest advancements in understanding and treating this aggressive disease. Sessions covering diverse topics—from pathology and pulmonary neuroendocrine neoplasms to cutting-edge epigenetics and novel therapeutic approaches—offer attendees unique insights into both the biological underpinnings and clinical treatment options. By focusing on immunotherapy, cell surface targeting, and the role of mouse models, we aim to equip lab researchers and medical oncologists with the knowledge they need to innovate and improve patient outcomes. This conference is a rare opportunity to connect with experts, gain exposure to the latest clinical trials, and contribute to a shared mission of advancing care for patients with Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Target Audience
The meeting is designed to meet the educational needs of researchers and healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and nurses.
