This activity will take learners through five interactive, thoracic oncology case-based simulations, created by the 2024 winners of the IASLC Academy’s Amazing Case Race. Each simulation provides a real-world scenario to exercise your decision-making skills with immediate results and feedback.

This activity is designed for multidisciplinary teams of medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, histologists, clinical radiation oncologists, pulmonologists, radiologists and interventional radiologists, translational scientists, nurses, nurse practitioners, scientists, specialty pharmacists and physician assistants globally.
Upon, completion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
  • Describe the lung cancer therapy landscape in different clinical scenarios.
  • Relate algorithms of diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
  • Illustrate the need for biomarker/NGS testing for targeted therapeutic decision-making.
  • Distinguish molecular profiling technologies and clinical applications and limitations.
  • Discuss multidisciplinary approaches for the management of lung cancer across different stages.
  • Identify the challenges for access to diagnosis tools and treatment around the world.
