This independent satellite symposium, held during the 2025 IASLC/ASCO North America Conference on Lung Cancer, is designed for medical oncologists caring for patients with HER2-altered non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants will gain a deeper understanding of HER2 alterations and current tissue and liquid biopsy techniques for accurate identification. The activity highlights evolving clinical evidence to guide personalized treatment strategies and emphasizes proactive communication approaches to overcome barriers and ensure care continuity.

By completing this program, learners will be better equipped to implement HER2 biomarker testing, tailor therapies based on molecular characteristics, and effectively engage patients and care teams to optimize outcomes.

This activity is derived from a Live Symposium at IASLC, originally held on December 7, 2025.

Live Activity Date: 12-07-2025
Enduring Activity Launch Date: 11-04-2026
Enduring Activity Expiration Date:11-30-2027
Medical oncologists who diagnose and care for patients with HER2-altered NSCLC in the United States.
Upon completion of this education activity, participants should be able to:
  • Describe HER2 alterations in patients with advanced NSCLC and the current tissue and liquid biopsies for their identification.
  • Evaluate clinical evidence on evolving therapeutic options for NSCLC with HER2-activating mutations in individualized treatment plans.
  • Select pro-active strategies to facilitate communication between patients and their care team and navigate barriers to care continuity.
