Discover how evolving HER2 science and testing recommendations are transforming care for patients with non–small cell lung cancer. This meeting will equip advanced practice providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary oncology teams to navigate HER2 alterations, apply comprehensive testing strategies, and integrate emerging HER2-targeted therapies into clinical practice. Participants will also explore practical approaches to multidisciplinary coordination, toxicity management, patient-centered decision-making, and equitable access to biomarker-driven care.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of researchers and healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced practice nurses and physician associates.

Upon completion of this activity, the participants should be able to:

• Explain the role of HER2 biology and appropriate testing methods in thoracic oncology.
• Apply current guidelines to HER2 biomarker testing, diagnosis, and treatment selection.
• Implement multidisciplinary strategies that improve coordination and communication across the care team.
• Develop individualized approaches to toxicity management and patient-centered care.
• Identify strategies to address barriers and improve equitable access to biomarker-driven oncology care.
