This webinar utilizes a team approach to explore challenges and provide best practices for conducting clinical and translational research during the COVID pandemic. A multidisciplinary faculty composed of physician researchers, a nurse clinical coordinator, a patient advocate and a pharmaceutical company representative will discuss the following topics: review and implementation of federal and international COVID guidelines, best practices for keeping clinical trials accessible to patients and labs open, best practices for study coordination and team wellness, and the effect of COVID on patients.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of researchers and healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.

Upon completion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
