The study also found that Hispanic and NHB patients were more likely to reside in lower-income areas and have Medicaid/Medicare-Medicaid insurance.<br /><br />In conclusion, the research suggests that there is comparable clinical effectiveness in terms of OS and PFS among a diverse cohort of metastatic SCLC patients who received first-line immunotherapy. This finding is significant because previous clinical trials often lack representation of ethnic minorities. By studying a diverse patient population, this research contributes to a better understanding of the impact of race on immunotherapy outcomes in SCLC.
