The 4-IN-THE-LUNG-RUN trial aims to develop and implement the most optimal and personalized CT lung cancer screening program for high-risk individuals in Europe. The trial will also evaluate sex and gender differences in lung cancer risk and screening effectiveness.<br /><br />Over the next two years, the trial expects to include 26,000 participants who will be followed for at least five years. This is the first large-scale, multi-centered implementation trial on volume CT lung cancer screening in multiple European countries.
